We are a member of the LTA's club ratings scheme and as such every senior member of the club is given a national rating. Initially this is set by Cynthia Douglas who is out Ratings Assessor. Club rating is similar to a golf handicap, which enables players of a similar ability to play together and have some really good matches. Every time you play a match (1 set or best of three sets) you can earn points, but only if you WIN! Prizes are awarded from time to time to the person who has earned most points - the more you play, the more you win, the more points you gain. All summer play tournament wins can be recorded and any wins at match practice or club play (minimum of 1 set) Ratings tournaments are great fun and help players to accumulate ratings points.
